We were delighted that Reading born actor, producer and charity supporter, Winston Ellis and acting superstar Andy Beckwith co-hosted this year. Winston said “ I was so proud to host the Achievement Awards. The event this year was held in my home town of Reading. I was lucky enough to be nominated two years running for their Lifetime Achievement Award and was honoured to meet all the nominees and winners this year and present them with their award, being part of this event is important to me and I believe in the research Against Breast Cancer and fundraising for.”
The event, now in it’s fourth year broke all previous records, the sheer number of nominations we received – of such a high standard and deserving – that our judges really struggled to decide on the final winners.
Thanks too must go to our Headline sponsors Cisco and all the other sponsors; NEXT, TripAdvisor, Showstate, Savoo, Hunts, Sonning Flowers & Brayborne Facilities Services, part of the Exclusive Group.
Showstate and Sonning Flowers were responsible for the look and feel of the room and the overall guest experience, and how they excelled! The room was stunning and with Winston and Andy’s professional hosting and evening ran flawlessly.
Over £36,000 was raised on the night for research into secondary spread breast cancer – another record. We hope that each year we can increase this figure whilst recognising and thanking some amazing people within our communities. We thoroughly enjoy organising the event and meeting such awe inspiring people.
