Charity listings are the same as any other listing, you decide what percentage of your final selling price you’d like to donate, between 10% to 100%, look for the blue and yellow ribbon in search results and Against Breast Cancer’s logo in your listing. Not only will your listing will be seen by everyone who searches through eBay.co.uk, it will also get extra visibility through the eBay for Charity pages.
Buying
When you buy an item with the eBay charity ribbon, some or all of what you pay will go to charity. All sellers can list charity items; if you see the logo you know you’re supporting a good cause.
Donating
When you choose Against Breast Cancer as your favourite charity you can make an optional donation every time you buy or sell. Your donation will be collected by the PayPal Giving Fund, and appear as a separate transaction paid to PayPal Giving Fund in your PayPal account.
Don’t forget to Gift Aid it!
Tick the Gift Aid box when you list an item and provided you pay more in UK income or capital gains tax than you’re asking charities to claim back in each tax year, PayPal Giving Fund will collect an additional 25% Gift Aid from the government and pass it on directly to Against Breast Cancer.
