For the 3rd Year in a row, Susana Lorena founder of London based lingerie store Maison SL is running her bra amnesty from her store in Ledbury Road, Notting Hill from 20th July until 31st July 2020.
This year they have a high-powered supporters Committee of local women who will be involved in spreading the word. They aim to double their collection of recycled bras for 2020.
Supporting the campaign as part of the Supporters Committee is TV and radio present Mariella Frostrup:
Vast amounts of clothing ends up in landfill every year, much of it scarcely worn, and it is hugely damaging to the environment. Recycling bras is a great way for women to help the environment as well as to raise money for breast cancer research.

Leading French Lingerie House, Aubade has agreed to sponsor the bra amnesty this year and is providing a free Aubade bra for the first 200 women to donate.
I do this as it is a wonderful scheme and Against Breast Cancer is a very important cause which our customers love to support. As you know women often have lots of unwanted bras, but they hate throwing them away and the bra amnesty is a fantastic way of helping them put their unwanted bras to good use in a really creative way
