Sunshine, sea and success are three things we have surely all thought about and missed at some point this year. The sun especially might have been in shorter supply than ever this summer, but that hasn’t stopped a great many of you combining your love of the great outdoors with your passion for supporting research into secondary spread, the main cause of breast cancer related deaths.
In this Autumn issue of Together, we feature an update on our work at the University of Southampton and the superb support of our sports ambassador Karen, who completed the Jurassic Walk challenge for us earlier in May.
You can also meet the new members of our Science Advisory Board, each experts in their chosen field. We rely of these extraordinary people to provide the knowledge and make recommendations to our existing and potential research projects.
We are really looking forward to the autumn and with it Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We hope you can join in this October, whether you are returning to the workplace or to school your ideas and ability to inspire others never fails to amaze us. Please don’t forget to tell us about your next fundraising challenge – let’s celebrate and share your success together!
If you haven’t already received this in your inbox but would like to in future, sign up now to get the latest updates by email.
We hope you enjoy this issue of Together, and thank you for your support.
