Corporate Volunteering

We do not receive any government funding, so we rely on volunteers to help us raise our vital funds for research. Against Breast Cancer was started by just two volunteers raising money for research into secondary spread breast cancer. Even though we’ve grown since then, we couldn’t run the charity without our wonderful volunteers.

Corporate volunteering is a simple and effective way to help our charity. Volunteers save us hours, days and weeks of time which in turn saves us thousands of pounds. And your staff can come together, have a great team building experience and support research into cancer.

How can you volunteer?

If you want to volunteer with your company, we can discuss ways that we can use your skills or valuable time to help support our charity. Every year we host events such as our flagship event – The Breast Walk Ever and we always need incredible volunteers support for this event whether it be helping us to set up or encouraging people as they cross the finish point.

Can your company do something specific?

We welcome help in our Abingdon office, so if you and your colleagues have a specific skill, creative ability or knowledge let us know and we may be very grateful to get your support.
