Charity Walks and Treks
Sign up for your charity walkTaking part in charity walks and treks are a fun and rewarding experience. And the best thing about them is that anyone can take part.
For some of these charity walks, all you need is to be reasonably fit and have a good pair of walking shoes. It can really be that simple.
Walking is also good for your health, both physical and mental. Our research has shown that regular exercise can help reduce the risk of developing secondary breast cancer. In fact, almost 30% of breast cancer cases in the UK are preventable through lifestyle changes. It can also help you to lose weight and benefit your mental health.

Our flagship walking event, the Breast Walk Ever, takes place in Oxfordshire ever year along the River Thames and also now takes place in Hampshire.
If you prefer more of a challenge, you could attempt the 3 Peaks Challenge or the Ben Nevis Trek. Alternatively, we offer a wide variety of overseas treks, including the Kilimanjaro Trek and Everest Base Camp Trek. Entry is now open for events in 2023 and 2024.

There are relaxing walks, such as our Breast Walk Ever, which are challenging only in the distance. There is also the Ultra Challenge series events that allow you to combine or choose between running and walking. Treks are much more challenging, going over difficult terrain, but these are often the most rewarding.

How much does a charity walk cost?
An event such as the Breast Walk Ever can cost as little as £12 to enter, whilst overseas events can be a lot more expensive, due to the costs involved in organising it, but given the scale of the challenge and rewarding nature of these treks, we feel these are still very good value.
