Our pre printed envelopes are designed to assist in the collection of funds In Memoriam. A record of the gift can be made on the envelope to allow thanking and a Gift Aid claim to be completed. We are also able to provide branded pink collecting tins or buckets.
Gifts
We have a range of small, yet meaningful momentos that we are able to provide you with, these are designed to show support for the cause and are for both young and old. We make no charge for these items, all we ask for is a minimum suggested donation of £1 each.
Sweetpeas
Sweetpeas are not only beautiful flowers, they play an important role in the history of the charity and are a lovely way to cherish and preserve the memory of a loved one.
They represent the earliest form of fundraising for Against Breast Cancer. In the early 1990’s our co-founder Pat Leathem planted her entire allotment with sweetpeas in order to raise funds for her husband Dr Anthony Leathem to continue his vital research into secondary spread, the main cause of breast cancer related deaths.
Today our sweetpeas are sold in packets each of 5 seeds with each packet containing a personalised message of your choice. Probably the most popular annual flower, Sweetpeas are prized for their colour and scent.
