If you notice any changes or experience one of the symptoms of breast cancer, you should see your doctor, breast pain by itself is unlikely to be a symptom of cancer.

Waiting for and attending appointments can be an anxious time, our leaflet ‘Something isn’t right with my breast’ has been designed to help you. The leaflet explains the investigative and referral process so you know what to expect from your visit to your GP and any subsequent hospital appointment. It contains information on the questions you are likely to be asked, the tests which might be carried out and includes advice on how to prepare for receiving your results.
